Halibut House is everything you want in a fish and chips shop -- tender fish portions with just the right amount of batter, fried golden brown, plenty of home-cut fries, and regular specials, served by lovely people. I enjoy supporting them all I can.

Fried to perfection and coupled with their homemade tartar sauce. This photo doesn't even do it justice. Portions are huge and their coleaw is delicious too! One of our go-to places for fish and chips! If you haven't tried them yet, you should definitely give it them a try!
Great Fish & Chips - ordered for our family takeout during lockdown. Also dropped off two additional orders to elderly and a separate family member that was pregnant and craving some Fish & Chips. Food was piping hot and great size portions. A nice sized quantity that the kids could not finish so we had some leftovers. So Good! Make sure if you order you also get the Calamari Bites...they have a light spicy bite but they are amazing. What we liked even more was this is a chain but run by families independently- they were so happy that we picked up and were very hard at work also keeping the store clean and safe. We will definitely be back - great local spot to contribute to family run business.

Very very good fish and chips. The batter is the second best batter I have ever had, crispy and golden. The fish and the chips were cooked perfectly. Sunday/Monday is the haddock special and Wednesday is the cod special. You can’t go wrong with this place. Coleslaw is good also. Hopefully they have enough staff for Good Friday.
