Good for kids
Everything was fantastic so there is not much to complain about. The only constructive feedback is that we wish we didn't have to sit and talk to strangers. If we could sit on our own (since it was Valentine's day), that would have been better.

Incredible experience - can't say enough good things about this hands on experience. The head chef, Erin, and her two team mates Olivia and Jazy Wu were INCREDIBLE. The food was phenomenal, the kitchen state of the art, the ambiance was excellent. We had such a great time. Will definitely be back for more. Good for gifts as couples, families, groups, parties, any celebration.
Attended their whole hog butchery as an early Christmas present for my dad, and it was a blast! We really got to break down the whole hog from nose to tail, and came away with some of the best pork we have ever tasted. Overall, the staff and instructors were very knowledgeable at Dish. They shared their know-how with the class in a very informative way, but in a manner that is fun, enjoyable, and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun date night, family bonding time, or who simply loves to learn and enjoys their time in the kitchen.
Hands-on at Dish was Saturday date night on our weekend getaway to Toronto! We went to the New Nordic hands-on class which had an exciting array of unique foods, cooked entirely by all of the 17 attendees, with assistance from their lovely staff. They provided a complementary welcome drink when we arrived and then split us up into groups of 4 or so to prepare the four courses which was basically hors d'oeuvres, side, main protein, and dessert. Each dish had a unique technical component. The great part is you get to eat everything, the unfortunate part is you are only hands-on with the course you are assigned. Though you can walk around and ask the other stations what they did, which is a fine way to mingle. I have to give this four stars (my heart says five) because I wish they had a system where you can either pre-select a station based on when you signed up, or be randomly assigned as individuals or couples to a station. We raised our hands to learn how to cook the duck breast (as did everyone else), but ended up being assigned to do the carrot dish because there were too many. It ended up great anyway, we got to our station and pickled, sauteed, chopped, blended, rolled, and roasted carrots into a visually stunning and delicious dish. At the end we all sat at one big table and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Learned a lot! And they will send you the recipes for everything after. :) Check it out
This was the most enjoyable cooking class / dinner that I have done. The facility is clean and spacious. But the thing that sets them apart is their staff. They were helpful and involved without being bossy. The final product was very tasty (we did the Mexican Fiesta) and the company was grand.
