A hidden gem! A fully paved wheelchair assessible walkway. An awesome wading pool and water sprays for little kids. Very nice public restrooms with baby-friendly changing areas. Well kept picnic area. Only 5 to park near the wading area. Parking is free if you walk the paved path to the wading area. Bring your own food and drinks -- none are available on sight for purchase.

Yesterday was the 1st time visiting. It's free to visit until Memorial Day. Then there are fees. Something like 5 to park per day or they have bundle packages. If you are from out of state the prices get exuberantly expensive!! The park has a wide variety of trails. Also a water (park) area for kids. Plenty of picnic areas, tables & spots to cook. If you are looking for a place to cool off with the kids or go for a hike/ take in nature? This state park is perfect.

Great place for hiking and biking! There are many trails to choose from and most of them intertwine so you won't get lost. Horseback riding is common here and there is a big open field in the middle. Autumn hikes are gorgeous.
