I'm a fan of the mini fish and chips with gravy or curry sauce and this place does a fine example of it. Very well presented in a box, the chips are plentiful and cooked to perfection, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a nice clean taste. The fish is also very nice, I especially enjoyed the light, crispy coating of batter, the entire fish is always a joy to eat. The gravy is very tasty, I have it in a pot rather than poured on and it's always boiling hot for my fish and chips to be dipped into when I get home. The only thing I'd say is the curry sauce isn't to my pallette, but then it could be just me. Top marks my favourite chippy in Mansfield!!

The chips were perfectly cooked and the fish was so delicately prepared . Keep up the excellent standards Tony and you will soon be a legend . I have told all my friends about you and they all agree that this is currently the best fish and chip shop in the town . I agree with the reviewer who said about chicken parmesans . They would be a huge success for you .Can't believe that they are not available anywhere in the Midlands . If you google Teesside parmo you will find out all about them . You will become so popular I'm sure .
Beautiful fish and chips .Always cooked fresh . Tonys batter is exceptional so crisp and light . I would love to know his secret . Tony please can you consider adding chicken parmesans to your menu .I used to live in Cleveland and they are absolutely legendary up there .I am sure you will make a fortune from them once word gets around .Nobody else does them around Nottinghamshire.
