This place never fails to deliver a decent cuppa & a delicious cake. The selection is really impressive from granola style bars to full-on slabs of home-made sponges, brownies and tarts. They offer wheat-free cakes; we had Rosemary, Lemon & Olive Oil. The cafe seating area is small but on a sunny day there is more space in their garden.

Lovely hidden gem, in a city dominated by chain cafes Tom's Cakes provides a warm and welcome change. Delicious sizeable bites that can be enjoyed tucked away indoors or on the go. Staff are helpful and friendly, giving the place a cozy homely atmospheric. You're spoiled for choice on what to go for but I can never resist their peanut and caramel slice!
Hands-down the best cake shop in Cambridge. Your biggest problem will be deciding what to have, as everything looks (and is!) delicious. But if I had to choose one thing, it would be the carrot and orange cake - it's to die for.
I found myself a week out from a baby shower suddenly without a cake and I was extremely stressed. I found Tom's Cakes through a quick Google search and I am so glad that I did! The day of, a few things went wrong, and I was late to pick up. The staff were still very kind to me and the cake was ready to go. IT WAS A HIT! Such a delicious cake. Every person at the party had a slice and some went back for seconds. The presentation, taste, flavor, and thought that went into the cake were all above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Best Victorian sponge ever!! I had to pace myself to enjoy every single bite of it. Date slice was great too and can’t wait to go back to try other cakes. Friendly interior and very chilled atmosphere. A must visit!
