Tollbar Fish & Chip Shop

This place is amazing. Food made to order and so fresh. The chips are among the best I've ever tasted! Their packaging is very user-friendly too, no paper all over the place but sturdy trays that don't leak juices - great for eating in the car. Staff are very decent and customer centric, they offered us free mince pies whilst we waited. We'll be going here again!

These do the best fish & chips. Really big portion, very hot, lots of peas. Really good value for money. So tasty!

Wow, amazing fish and chips, portion size and quality...amazing staff giving free mulled wine and minced pies. I’m a gluten when it’s this good. These are the best I’ve had. Great recommendation thanks guys I’ll give you a mention on BBC. Well done to you all

There isn't a finer fish and chip shop about. Honestly, the batter is light and fluffy, the food divine and the staff are gloriously helpful and happy. I just wish it eas closer to home :D

Fantastic fish and chips from this little place today! After a long walk in the Peak District it was nice to find somewhere to stop and refuel! You know somewhere is good when truckers are stopping there. The fish was so fresh, cooked just perfect and was like butter! Amazing! Will be back for sure!
