Rather disappointing. There were 4 of us. I thought the food was good however that was not the opinion the others. Comments included Gravy had no flavour, potatoes were hard and cauliflower cheese was watery. My issue was currently you must book a table, so we did. We were about 10 mins early and seated immediately. Ordered drinks and joined the carvery queue which was not very long but still took nearly 30 minutes to reach the front. Went back to our table and ate. So far so good. Finished dinner and was asked if we wanted desert. Then was told there were only 3 things we could have as they did not have anything else and that we would have to leave in 15 mins as we were only allowed 1hour for booking slot. After spending 30 minutes waiting in the queue I thought it was unreasonable. Hence 3 star average rating... not convinced it deserved that!

Well, our first time at the carvery since Covid happened was a very good experience, it was fairly quiet due to having to prebook and to allow social distancing but you still queue to be served, for meat and veg, and the servers put your gravy and sauces on for you. Sanitising stations everywhere, and table service for any drinks you want. If you're thinking of going I recommend it!
