The food was great, but the server/waitress was super rude. We were there for less than 50 minutes from ordering the food to leaving the place, because the server pretty much drove us out. I was there with my mom, and my mom was half way eating her dish, and this server just dropped to-go containers on top of our food and left the check. I couldn’t believe what was happening. Then she came back to collect the signed check but not the empty plates. I even tipped generously. About 5 minutes later she came back to tell us that we needed to leave because there are people waiting. Again, the food is great but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. She was unbelievably rude.

The Bossam (sliced pork belly platter), Bajirak Kalguksu (clam noodle soup), and Haemul Pajeon (seafood pancake) were delicious. Definitely the best pajeon I've had in DMV area so far.
If you are looking for authentic Korean cuisine in the National Capital Region, To Sok Jip is where you want to go. It's like going to your Korean grandmother's house for a meal. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to choose a table...there were only two left to choose from on a Friday during lunch and only about 8 or 9 four person tables total in the restaurant. The menu is fairly large and diverse. We tried a few popular dishes recommended on Yelp and they were really good. You get a ton of food here; so you may want to just order an appetizer and split an entree or be prepared to take leftovers home. We ended up doing the latter and look forward to another round of this fantastic food. :-) The staff was friendly and patient with us as we had not dined here before and wanted to spend a little more time reviewing the menu. The food came pretty quickly...appetizer just a few minutes before the entrees. We would definitely comeback again. Thank you.
great Korean dishes, but side dishes are a bit salty
This establishment offers great Korean food at affordable prices. The Portions are quite big and one entree can feed two people. However, their service is lackluster. We actually got chased out for not leaving a good enough tip and the waitress had an attitude with us during our dining. I would give them more stars but their service and expectations from the staff deserves a 3.
