Visited Tj’s for a cake and coffee after a walk around Pentire Head and the Rumps, to watch the sunset as the waves crashed against Polzeath beach. I had an americano and my wife had a decaf cappuccino with oat milk and we shared a couple of cakes. Coffee was good but the Lumberjack cake was awesome. Unfortunately not vegan, but such a tasty cake. Service was prompt and friendly and the view was superb. Hope to visit again when restrictions allow.

Great, quick service in peak times. The staff really put a shift in and do a great job preparing lovely food and drinks for ravenous beach bums. The cafe is right on the beach so no distance to travel for a quality bit of grub. Slightly pricey but happy to pay for delicious food and a decent coffee. Pay them a visit!

Several visits, to this well organised and beautifully situated eatery. Lovely food which catered to the wants of both vegans and meat eaters. Good selection of drinks too.

Friendly staff however cutlery and sauces left on tables for anyone to touch (one ketchup on our table was half opened), staff not using anti bac between customers and no noticeable contact tracing for outdoor customers turning up without a booking. Food was basic but fine, view was amazing and we were able to change tables when we asked to (although we don't think the table was cleaned first).

The best bar in Polzeath. A beautiful view over the beach. Great beer, excellent food and fabulous service. If you are going to go to to a bar in Polzeath got to TJ’s surf cafe.
