I have been here before with no problems. But, yesterday my brother and I went in for breakfast. They sat us down at a booth with no menu. We both waited for about 10 min nothing. My brother went and asked someone for help. Still nothing just ignored by those whom work there. We just got up and left. Not Really Sure what the problem was but, it does make me wonder what is happening with racial issues in AZ lately.

TJ's is amAZing. Fresh home style cooking, generous portions and delicious food. Stop in for breakfast of you liked cinnamon Raisin toast you owe it to yourself to get some here, best you've ever had!!!
First time. Was in the west valley, wife wanted biscuits and gravy (rare request from her). I Googled best biscuits and gravy near me and Black Bear Diner and TJ's popped up. We like Black Bear, went there first and fortunately there was a 45 minute wait. Fortunate, because we decided not to wait and to try TJ's. After parking, while walking in I said to my wife \I hope this is one of those hole in the wall off the grid places that turns out to be really good\. Famous last words. It was fantastic! Prices are reasonable, but the portions are huge. Our coffee never dipped below 3/4 full, any server walking by with a pot in hand topped us off each time. Food was flavorful and as busy as it was the arrived quick and hot. Staff was very friendly and even though it was busy, we didn't feel rushed. Restaurant is clean and the wall signs are worth reading. A bit of a drive for us, but we will return. Hopefully save room for the giant cinnamon rolls.
We used to be regulars, but since our family has moved away we haven't been in quite a long while. The atmosphere and food was so good. We had forgotten why we liked the place before. Excellent food and now that we're reminded we may have to pop in more often. Wait can get long on the weekends but it'll be worth it.
