I’ve used TJD Models quite a few times over the lockdown period. Excellent service and website and really helpful staff and customer service. Unbeaten on price and a shame they don’t stock more railway modelling supplies as I’d use them even more! Highly recommend to anyone!

Great place to satisfy all your RC needs.. it took seconds to order and pay.. it's good to see they are still busy on a click and collect system..Brill shop I can't wait until they open their doors up again..I'll be one of the first in there to do some browsing.. I would highly recommend this shop ..
Dangerous, Negligent, Uninterested After following Johns advice, i purchased from him for my 9 year old son and i a battery RC car and charger... He supplied us the incorrect battery which was incompatible with the charger, so on first charge, it Reacted, and exploded from its case, causing harmful smoke to emit everywhere. I returned it to the shop, and received no apology for the distress and possible harm it could have caused myself or 4 young children. I was then sold another charger and battery, which turns out to be massively over-specked for my requirements, but purchased in good faith... The charger whilst on charge, developed fault and again made the battery react, this time it burst into flames in my kitchen, and the corrosive fluid spread all over, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage. Its a miracle none of us, including 4 children were in the room, because the outcome could have been much much worse. I took the faulty, now completely melted and saturated with water, charger and battery to John, and he ultimately was not interested and dismissive. As there was know known fault with the charger, and they cant be tested now as they are fire and water damaged there is nothing he is willing to do.. his advice was \you will have to take me to court..\ and regards the fire and corrosive liquid that could have seriously harmed my children, his opinion was \ i shouldn't be concerned with what could have happened to my children because it didn't....\ Poor Advice Poor Products Poor Attitude Poor Customer Service No Duty of Care The only advice i am taking from John is to take him to court, so the wheels are in motion for that and also trading standards are looking into the matter. Spend your money with TJD Models and take your chance. If your looking for sound advice from a responsible retailer, look elsewhere. Will never use again, and will never recommend
What a great shop, and staff. I rang up to ask some advice on some ideas I had for something to do. I was given a wealth of information and steered in the right direction. I could have spent a fortune on things I thought were what I wanted. Instead I was helped totally and I can’t be happier. The parcel arrived the next day, well wrapped and earlier than I had thought. I can’t rate these guys enough, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. And I will definitely use these guys again
Brilliant Service Quality Products Great Range I came in knowing little knowledge about RC Cars, and simply asked for a top market RC Car. After being a bit picky and probably annoying, i had purchased a Traxxas Slash (Which i seriously do recommend). The speed is insane!! Even thought the whole of the traxxas range looks incredible. I shall be buying more. I can't stop playing with it, i admit i am a tad rough with it however its durability has surprised me. TJD Models have outstanding service and made me super happy. Friendly and don't pressure you into anything. Can't recommend them enough!!!
