Fantastic bike route. really scenic. We started at Ashbourne and it is noticeably up hill all the way to Dowlow, but well worth it and this does of course mean it's mainly down hill going home (When you need it). There are a few cafés on route so you can split the ride up if you wanted. Highly recommend this route

Beautiful setting and scenery. I was moaned at during various stages of our 8 mile walk I was advised to go on bikes next time from an suggestive 8 year old. Point taken. Amazing beautiful dated properties and a stunning castle at Tissington. Really nice day out. Lots of wells wildlife's and greenery to see. And a out stop to the olde sweet shoppe.

Lovely place to walk/cycle. Great views of the Peak District area. Highly recommended but get there early to get a parking spot. Park all day for less than a fiver!

We wanted to walk this with our 3 dogs. It was lovely but it was ruined a little by cyclists who thought it their right to cycle at great speed rather than share. As a cyclist and walker I understand both! But that being said it's a nice flat walk with so e nice scenery and a nice concession at each end.

We arrived at 10.20am on a bright and sunny Sunday morning, and it was full. We had to park on the road just outside. However when we returned at a similar time on the (slightly overcast) Monday morning it was practically empty. Get there early and you'll be fine. And don't forget it's Pay & Display!
