It's amazing how such a place existed with value for potion in their range of authentic food. Awesome. Fresh and delicious. Cosy and nice sense of home style overall. Choices are good. A set itself just simply wonderful. And price reasonable too.

We had no idea what we missed in Singapore for the last three years. This is heaven. You can close your eyes, put your finger on any item in the menu, and it will turn out to be one of the best dishes you've ever had. Authentic, original, honest and wholesome delicacies at a super reasonable price. Non-pretentious cozy ambiance with families and friends having a good time around you -- hallmark of a traditional restaurant. You must try it out!
First time there with my husband earlier for dinner. We went early at 6pm and the cafe was almost empty, thankfully. 30 minutes later, the place was full. Be there early to skip the crowd! Food was surprisingly really good. Why surprising? The place looked unassuming, was renovated very nicely, and sometimes may feel like it looks nicer than it tastes. It didn’t disappoint. It’s quite efficient because there’s only one server and two kitchen staff. Good on them for keeping operations so lean, but i can imagine it mustn’t be easy during peak hours for the only server who has to take orders, serve, take payment at the cashier, tell the kitchen staff to prep food. Definitely will be back. Psst, the sambal chilli they serve is a MUST try, it’s really appetising.

We usually visit the one at PLQ, but popped in here since we were going to the Bakehaus opposite. The lunch sets are pretty good. We haf the babi ponteh and the beef rendang, which also came with a lemongrass drink and a sago pudding dessert. The setting is quaint and the staff are friendly.
Even though Peranankan food is gaining popularity in Singapore, it is nonetheless not easy to find places that do it well. PeraMakan offers a set menu that is great value and pretty good. Recommended!
Went for a good dinner meal of delicious Peranakan food. Reasonable food prices. Portion a bit small so order more dishes if you are going in big numbers. Salted duck soup soso.. Won’t really recommend. Petal beans are great tasting. High recommend to try this dish! Open for reservation.
