WAIT SO THAT'S HOW WE ENDED UP HERE AT \ SHIPWRECK DINER\ WHERE WE WAS SUPPOSED TO GO,CONSIDERING WE WERE GREETED BY CO-OWNER JANET! SHE GAVE US THE V.I.P. TREATMENT BY THE WAY KRISTEN WAS HER WING-WOMAN WE GOT THE (KOBE&SHAQ) TREATMENT FOOD,SERVICES,MUSIC IS ALL GOOD OVER THERE HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2021
As always we weren't disappointed with our brunch at Shipwreck. We were offered indoor or outdoor seating as soon as we arrived. Surprisingly quick for a Sunday at noon. We sat inside near the back door, plenty of room between tables, we felt safe and comfortable. We were offered coffee as soon as we sat down by our very friendly waitress. We ordered the flight of mimosas which were tasty. My friend had the eggs Benedict over housemade hash and I had a Greek omelette with hash instead of home fries, all delicious. Our server was very attentive and we got coffee refills without even looking towards the waitress. Can't wait to return. Thanks Shipwreck for being awesome.

One of my favorite places in Northport. It's a wonderful family run business. The food is classic diner fare with plenty of fried fish dishes to choose from. The soups are great, too. My favorite sandwich is the fried Cod Ruben on Rye, served with homemade macaroni salad and Cole slaw. Yum! They serve a great cup of coffe,which to me is a sign of a good restaurants Everything is made to order and served by a great group of waiters and waitresses who have been there a long time. Always a good sign. Finally, they have an out door covered seating area which is a Patio. It is a wonderful space that has served me well during the pandemic. The tables are spaced and separated by plants that creates privacy and a wonderful atmosphere to dine in. If you have a chance to come to Northport, you must try Tim's Shipwreck Diner. A gem in Northport Village.
