I like this place. It's one of a kind in Carthage. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is above average. A heads up if you are at high risk during these unusual times. The staff doesn't even pretend to wear masks.
Steak burger was ok, I ordered well done and it was hard to chew.Great service.
A bit of a back story involved here. We were travelling back from Cary, NC to Charlotte, NC after a funeral. As such, we were all in formal attire. That being said, we were all very hungry and decided to give it a go since it had really high reviews and there is practically nothing between those two cities. So, the five of us in various states of sadness and various states of formal attire go in and I swear to you that you could hear a pin drop. We did not look the part for a local sports bar. Without skipping a beat, the server showed us to our seat and was very friendly. I feel like he had a lot of questions, but he didn't ask. We asked him what was good and he gave us his recommendations. We ordered and the food was out piping hot very quickly. And the food itself was AMAZING. The cheese sticks there are divine. The *only* reason I am docking this place a star is because it is loud... the music coming through the speakers is overpowering. I know this is a personal preference being that it is a sports bar, so take that for what you want.
