Love coming here for family walks. Kids have plenty of safe space to run and burn off energy. Very scenic. Easy parking.

I love walking around the lake and into the woodland. There is always so much to see. It can get crowded but you can always find a quiet space and enjoy the scenery. Great area to go as a family. In the walled garden there is a lovely little cafe. Staff are friendly and polite.

All you could want for all ages in a near to town park. You'd think you were more rural. There are managed rope adventures in the trees. A small zoo area I believe {I've not seen for awhile} on the lake there are boats for hire {proper jetty} all sorts of water features, with good paths between and off path walks. On top of the lawn area, a themed restaurant - pub with large patios. Car park very close by. A popular family walk during covid times, plus all year round. There's more than I've mentioned. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did I think. I'm a pensioner, this is my view.

Really love a walk around Tilgate, lots of space for the kids to run around and lovely to look at. They also have good clean facilities.

Great place for running or a walk with the children, the play areas aren't open during lockdown but it is still nice. Would recommend looking out for the different species of tree which are sign posted around the park. These also have a bit so children can do a rubbing with paper and a crayon.
