Stopped here today for a meal, the food and atmosphere was brilliant. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the home cooked food was fantastic and I can’t imagine anyone leaving still hungry.

Lady that served us was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice comfortable place.
Lovely little stop off for lunch, right by the river on the main road. lovely setting for an afternoon lunch.
After a lovely 4 mile walk around Boroughbridge and Aldborough what could be nicer than having your Sunday lunch cooked for you! Good choice of meat, loads of fresh veggies and great gravy, oh and a Yorkshire pud . No room for a dessert after that lot! Oops, forgot the best bit, very reasonably priced and the staff were great. Thanks.
Very nice homely pub, very nice food cooked fresh with plentiful portions. A very friendly nice place to be, and prices are very good. A nice old pub. Thank you.
