Lovely pub, very friendly landlord and landlady. Good food eat in or takeaway. I had a very cold pint of Stowford press while waiting for me cod n chips takeaway.

Brilliant, the hostess was amazing, great welcome great food, able to sit and eat in the bar with our dog, no issues, Felt challenged by a Dutch customer who ate a 'Grumpy' followed by dessert, a ' Grumpy' is basically a mixed grill, with scampi and 2 fried eggs, it was delicious, so having felt the challenge not to let my English nation down I followed that up with bread and butter pudding and custard, are there any other nations who want to take on the challenge, you also need to drink 2 pints of whatever you like. Came out thoroughly satisfied and a bit overfilled with a promise to return this week

A lovely place Very friendly staff and customers. Pretty little village. Good outdoor seating and a brilliant atmosphere. A cosy little country pub. I would definitely go again. We were made to feel very welcome.The open Mike night was delightful with a whole range of music performed by young and old. A great family night out.

Really welcoming pub and restaurant, great food at really good prices, all mains at one price on the night we went. Good selection of real ales
