As an American ex-pat living in England, I cannot think of a better school for my children. When we moved here from China, we looked at all of the area schools, even a couple in London but couldn't find the right fit. When we stumbled upon TASIS we knew we'd found the perfect school for both of our children. TASIS challenges them while offering support and understanding at the same time. It cares for the wellbeing of the student and has an incredible community of support. From Buddy Families, to transition team support, grade level coffees. My children have blossomed over the last two years here. We plan to stay for another 4 years. I highly recommend taking a look at TASIS.

My son joined TASIS a year ago, after ten years at a different school in another country. His (and therefore our) transition was very smooth; this is due both to the exceptional assistance given to new families and to the dedication of his teachers. Class sizes are small therefore teachers are able to address individual needs and strengths. Standards and expectations are high, but students are well supported and lessons/classes are designed to bring out the best in each student. The teachers clearly love their jobs. Communication between parents and teachers is age appropriate. In HS (where he is), students are encouraged to advocate for themselves, but parents are kept in the loop. The parent body is extremely active and very welcoming. This is especially important where families are new to the UK and know few people outside of school. In short, our move to TASIS has been a resounding success and my son is thriving.

Our three children joined Tasis in 2008 when we relocated to the UK from Sri Lanka with our eldest entering Grade 7, our son grade 4 and our youngest grade 2 . After 11 years being part of the Tasis community we had our youngest child graduate in June 2019 and she went on to University of the Arts London to study Fashion Management . Our eldest daughter is at Kings College London studying Medicine and our son is at University of Edinburgh Business School . We believe our children could not have received a better more holistic education in any other school and we are so grateful to all the staff and administration of the school .

This is our second year at TASIS, and it has been a very good move for us. It has been academically challenging for my kids, and they are both much happier at TASIS than they were at their previous school. The heart of the school is what makes such a difference. The parent community is very welcoming. For the most part, the kids support each other, and the teachers seem to care about the students.
