Hired an upright from Thornhill Pianos for a party. The piano was great and perfect for the venue; communication with Sebastian was friendly, quick, informative, painless; the piano movers were true professionals, punctual and efficient, and to top it all, Thornhill were the most inexpensive of the options I tried. So all in all it was a faultless encounter - 5 stars the only option.
We bought a beautiful second-hand Wendl & Lung piano from Thornhill Pianos two years ago. It has a wonderful sound and my daughter (who is just learning to play) and myself have got great pleasure from playing it. The service from Thornhill Pianos was brilliant, both when we bought the piano and in terms of getting it tuned. Their knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none!
Ive always wanted to play the piano since I was a little boy. I used to have a keyboard as a child and i always wanted a big upright piano. In school when we used to have assembly I always used to look at the big piano being played and I used to sit and the front so that I could see the piano being played. I just love the sound of the piano. Currently I own a Yamaha Arius YDP 142 Digital piano that is full weighted with 88 keys. It's a good digital piano but I feel that it doesn't have the same sound as a upright or grand piano. I contacted Thornhill Pianos, and a very helpful gentleman called Sebastian helped me out in finding the perfect upright piano for my repertoire. I have chosen the Wendl & Lung upright piano in black. It looks wonderful, and I can't wait to get it. I will treasure the piano for life. Thank you to Sebastian and the rest of the team at Thornhill Pianos. You guys are awesome.
Sebastian is fantastic. I'm loving my 122. It has a beautiful rich sound and Seb was extremely helpful when I was shopping and through the sales process. My 122 has the silent system, which had a few gremlins, and Seb was very patient, responsive and stayed on top of the issues until they were resolved. I fully recommend Seb as an honest, decent and helpful person to work with.
