Been here a few times and had a mixed bag. on the negative side, the toilets are poor, the swims on the lakes are poorly maintained, and you have no indication of which lakes are going to be used for matches. Better signage the night before please! on the positive, the fishing is generally good, the lodges and facilities are nice enough and the staff are excellent. one thing...make sure you take cash with you...some of the places on site do not take card payments due to poor reception and there is no cash point.

Unless you fish the match lakes don't bother. That is if you can get on due to the amount of matches on these. The pleasure lakes are not maintained and the fish are not in great condition. Don't waste 10. There are better places to fish in the area. Oaks is quality compared to woodlands.

Great day fishing, my mate had 2x 15lb carp and a 13 and 8 lb carp, I landed 42 fish including a pb of 7lb 8oz carp. Would definitely recommend this place.
