Love the layout, everyone is really friendly from the garden centre team to the people browsing and buying. They also welcomed my little staffie in so he could choose a toy - and he went for a ring for tug of war (I'm sure he'd have gone for everything else as well) and a no pull harness (to be fair he didn't pick that). Thank you for being so warm and welcoming

A big thank you to the Thirsk Garden Centre for their very special customer service. I had been searching for exactly the right wooden bird feeder, and their expert and friendly help over the telephone was a burst of sunshine on a very grey day. The beautiful blue bird feeder arrived safe and sound almost instantly and I know that the sight of it hanging in the tree outside my window will make me smile every day!

Tasty food and excellent surroundings. I've used this cafe for years and it continues to serve great food, such as a quiche salad, which is my favourite, all of which have that extra attention to detail meaning all the salad is delicious in the case of the salad. The cakes have always been second to none, and the flapjack could fuel you for the entire weekend. The staff are smart, wearing matching shirts, and are polite and efficient, particularly with the testing protocols of covid restrictions added to the mix. The cafe is in two sections, both of which are smart and comfortable, with one half allowing dogs in, which is great as my little dog has laid bored beneath a table many times. There is plenty of parking and a moderately sized garden centre and shop to boot. It is popular so be prepared for the occasional short wait for a seat at weekends. That being said, it is just a few minutes at worst.

Compact garden centre with some fancy goods : we stopped there for a coffee when we were out for a drive. Spacious cafe with a special area for dog owners and so many Covid sanitation points. Didn't spend too much time outside as it was absolutely pouring down but would definitely go back.
