One of my absolute favourite shops. The variety of fabrics, cross stitch, patterns and everything stitchy is impressive. A real alladins cave of stitchy gorgeousness. Kate is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It's a real treat to pop in and find my next project.

Oooo hooooo hoo, heaven!! Now then, this is what it's about! How simply glorious to come across a shop like this! In my day, when I was a young un, mum n sister and I used to trot around the range of 5 or 6 fabric shops in Chester and we loved them, from the massive pattern books to browse through to the rolls of fabric and, and, and! Now shops like this are as rare as hen's teeth. Oh, for the days. And then I visited Thirsk for the first time yesterday and happened upon this absolutely divine Aladdin's cave. Oh my, it was sheer unadulterated joy. As you can gather I am a huge fan of textiles and haberdashery, being an ardent crafter. This is a totally wonderful shop and the range of gloriously tempting goodies is huge. Very well laid out. Great choice. Zings of colour everywhere. Haberdashery, threads, buttons.... If you are into your textile crafting you are sure to emerge from this shop with something new. Loved it. To quote Arnie: \Oi'll be bahhhk.\ Easy peasy 5 And it is so conveniently located right by the car park. Just so glad I clocked the sign that lured me in....!
