Truly inspiring. My little girl said she was 'so happy' after her session today.

Think like a pony is a great school, not only for the great, friendly method of teaching, but also for the contense of the sessions.Giving young people the understanding of how ponys think make children more aware of the actions that may frighten a pony, therefore the pony and the rider will become more comfortable when around each other, building a strong, pony - rider relationship. This afternoon, I had my first lesson at Think like a pony;I have never felt so much excitement to ride. I learnt how to lead my pony a well as walk without stirrups and reins, trot without stirrups, stear and stop and give Conker (who was my pony) a great, big hug.At the center, the instructors pack their lessons full of excitement, without over working you or your pony. The staff and ponys alike are expertly trained and will do anything to make sure your experience is as memorable and safe.

My daughter has only had 1 session so far here, but I feel the need to write this already. Sometimes as parents we go through things that are hard work, everywhere we turn and everything we try just doesn't seem to help. Trying to get a child to think about even the slightest things they do or the reason they do them is hard too, as parents sometimes we miss the smallest things they do because we are concentrating on the out bursts and meltdowns. So hands up, I missed the fact my daughter doesn't look up when she's walking. Imagine always looking down. Of course I know she's waiting on an autism assesment etc but as a mother I missed the fact she does this. On her first session at think like a pony, they didn't miss that. Maybe some people who read this won't get what an issue looking down actually is, if youre always looking down though how much of the world are you missing? How many interactions have you missed? She finished her lesson today, went to school and afterwards has none stop talked about the horse she road and her worker there. Which that in itself is unusual and amazing, but then she mentioned her homework is to look where she's going and she alone said, \ I wonder why I look down when I'm walking.\ She's had to think today why her horse, makes the movements it does and it's made her think of the movements she does too! I may have to update this review at a later time. So far though it's going really well. Far surpassing my expectations on the first visit.

1 to 1 pony training sessions, much better than the previous places we've been to. Not cheap but compared to group training not too bad for the amount of time spent with the rider.
