Amazing memorial to the brave Desert Rats, superb tank on the top. If you are passing them worth a divert.

There is a 1 mile walking trail through the forest with signs detailing how the Desert Rat Camp was laid out during their 5 month occupation in early 1944. There is also a museum, but this was closed at the time of the visit due to the Covid lockdown. Definitely a worthwhile visit.
A fantastic exhibition of the desert rats. Has everything from this part of history and the knowledge is incredible. Insightful and educational.
As a former Desert Rat, it was an honour to visit here with old comrades.
