Used to be my local. We called for a quick one after a walking nearby. Not changed, lovely pub, and the carvery smelt lovely. But we had something in the slow cooker at home otherwise we would have stayed for it!

Great place to have a few pints! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. You can even park your motorhome for a night and use all services (grey, black and water: all free).
My mum was told by a friend that THE YEW TREE was delivering Sunday lunches, due to the COVID RESTRICTIONS. However, my mum was disappointed (takes a lot for her not to like a home made lunch)! Yorkshire Pudding small flat and burnt Beef was a cheap cut off! And not very appetising to look at. She thought, well maybe it’s a one off, so ordered for the following Sunday via THE DRIVER. The lunch never arrived this Sunday gone, so decided not to bother again.
Top Sunday carvery, top staff, top pub, the food is all locally sourced, drinks very reasonably priced as is the food, will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
Great local pub. We had permission to park our motorhome in the car park overnight. Staff were great, very welcoming. Good beer at s reasonable price. Nice atmosphere.
