A mid-week visit in early October to this quaint spot looking over the water, broke up the monotonous routine of working from home. If you have never been here before, just note; it's not the most well signage venue and as it is tucked away from the main part of Falmouth, we did have to keep our eyes peeled, but it was worth the walk. A mix of traditional menu options like fish and chips as well as some other modern classics like mackerel pate and squid in almost a tempura light batter is what we found on the lunch menu. We were informed by the staff that their menu had been streamlined due to COVID dining restrictions but what the management/chef chose to put on the menu was a good variety. Each dish was presented very well and arrived at our table quite quickly. For two people that had a starter, a main and a glass of wine each our meal came to just under 29 per head which I thought was very reasonable. The staff that served us were attentive and swift and made for a lovely lunch spot.

Beautiful food. Substantial but creative. Lovely attentive staff. World class location.
Great location and Verdant local beer. Nice inner layout and well appointed. Recommended.
Nice venue with plenty of space since they erected a marquee the width of the pier to accommodate clientele. They serve Offshore and Non-alcohol beers, but price hikes are noticable at 9.20 for a couple of average drinks and a paquét de crisp. Can the Working Boat not appeal more to the the Working Class? And how about a stage for music?
Excellent food, service, hospitality, beer and atmosphere. Pub food cooked to a 4 star hotel standard.
