Simply amazing. Great cake and coffee mid bike ride, and service with a smile ( always a bonus) !

Lovely food. Slightly pricey for me to enjoy on a regular basis but nice as a treat. Bit cramped inside which means during current distancing you feel a bit close to other people while waiting for your order.

USED to do an amzing cheese and ham toastie!..... Love this place. Really pleasant staff (although kitchen staff get the grump even with reasonable, justified complaints!), an amazing array of unique tray bakes, cakes and cookies although 2.50 for a cookie is very steep! Great coffees and generally a nice menu offering a range of lovely toasties, different flavoured sausgae rolls and the like. Nicely decorated and rustic feel with a nice atmosphere. HOWEVER they used to do THEEE best Ham and cheese sourdough toastie with a mustard truffle mayo. So much so I had to recreate it at home. Recently though, they've opted to go cheap (but still charge 5!) and use what they call ham hock. I ordered my toastie, really looking forward to it but thought they'd given me a mashed sausage & cheese toastie! I returned it and was told it was ham hock that yes they'd perhaps over processed in their machine... certainly did NOT look like ham hock! Looked more like grey cat food - sorry guys but this is a MASSIVE decline in standard here! The toastie was TINY too... the size seems to have decreased substantially too. You really can't charge 5 for this!

Great food, coffee and all other things. Best place for a light bite in the village and does a great cooked breakfast.
