Great pub. Have dealt with Covid-19 brilliantly, table service, one way through the pub, table booking, all staff in masks, hand squirt. And there's lots ales, good range of other drinks, great range of bar snacks, lots of space and tables. And even huge candles. What more could you want. X

Although i have driven past on several occasions i decided to call in for a meal to see what it was like. The menue choice was bigger than i imagined with a good selection. We both had white bait as a starter with salad. I chose the steak with optional blue cheese sauce while my friend had chicken strips. We were to full so declined a sweet. Very friendly staff, a good choice of beers & largers, will visit again.
Love the food here. The staff are always welcoming. A good children's menu. They have the cutest little hamburger! With a lovely little burger bun.
3 times visited in 8 weeks. Everytime service is very slow. Today when visiting. Ignored by staff to be seated. Then land lady sat us, she was lovely. Took our orders too. Then forgotten about for just shy of an hour. All we had ordered were drinks. 3 members of staff stood behind the bar chatting and not paying attention to tables. Group next to us, empty plates sat waiting for service. Shame really, won't be attending again. Couldn't get up to ask for service or to pay and ignored by a tall male staff member with dark hair numerous times when getting his attention to pay. Unfortunately couldn't pay our bill! We were celebrating our engagement, but it wasn't to be tonight!
