Lovely view from the beer garden. The lad serving us was so welcoming and helpful - recommended some yummy ciders for us. We didn't try the food, but the menu looked good. Would definitely go back, its a lovely welcoming country pub.

It's not far off the A419, but a little gem! When I'm not in a hurry to pull off and go back 50 years is sublime. There is a wonderful walk around the valley, to start and end up at this notable and historic pub. It's more than a pub though. Peek inside and discover for yourself.....you'll be glad you did....and have stories of your own to weave and tell! C

Such a lovely pub! We had dinner in the dinning area, the food was exceptional as was the service. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be booking again :)

It's a hell of a Sunday roast! Seems like it's made to order, so it takes a little longer than expected. But the trade off is that you have a perfectly cooked bit of meat. Walked here from Painswick, so the meal was definitely needed and did not disappoint. 100% recommend. And it doesn't hurt that it's in an incredible setting!
