We ordered three meals via the Leyland Eats app/website for delivery. The food and service were both excellent and our meals arrived much earlier than suggested. Great food, great app (Leyland Eats), and great service. Despite what it says above, The Woodsman is open three nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a week for both collection or home delivery. We will certainly be ordering again. Food was lovely, social distancing was more than required. A lovely lunch...
We had a delivery of food which was both delicious and warm, the packaging with brilliant! Very impressed, will definitely order again!
The menu was limited which I can understand through covid-19 I payed 11 for my meal I got 8 chips a plate of lettuce with 1/3 of a tomato and 2 slices of prppers the chicken was southern fried about 6oz i had a dip pot 1 x table spoon of beans and chicken gravy which was cold. My grandchildren asked for beans they got them in a dip pot and charged me 3 2 portions of chips in a small bowl which was over cooked cost me 5 I would not go again and recommend that nobody to go there for food , no value for money a side of the road cafe has better quality and value for money That is the first time I have ever complained I payed 70 and I could have made a 3 course al a carte meal fir 3 adults and 3 children better than that , we only had mains 1 drink each .
Enjoyed the food. Good portions, came quickly. Nice staff and reasonable pricing. Nice setting sat in the conservatory at the back. Lamb chops were great. The garlic bread starter with chilli and onions was brilliant.
