I wish I could award 5 stars. If this review were based only on medical providers, I would. Dr. Reddy and his PA Laura P. are excellent, skilled, caring, competent professionals. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing/insurance department has been less than satisfactory. For the visit 1/17, I received a claim in the mail for an insurance company I do not even have! Even though I provided correct updated information prior to my visit and my updated cards at the visit. No one has explained the issue. I would like an explanation to set my mind at ease. Additionally, the billing department is VERY hard to reach. When I finally did so, the person was very nice, but had no idea as to why the problem came about. When I brought the document by the Pine Croft office today, 2/19/20, the front desk staff was less than reassuring. Additionally, I had made a followup appointment for 2 weeks after a procedure. My doctor recommended a 3 month followup. So I changed the appointment, but continued to receive email reminders for the cancelled appointment. Update 2/21/20 Teresa, the billing manager called today and reassured me all is well. I appreciated that so very much. Update 3/5/20 I was assured by Teresa, the billing manager, that my insurance issues were resolved. Unfortunately that is not the case. I received a bill that they clearly filed on the wrong insurance. So frustrating. It messes up my deductible issue when visiting other providers. I am VERY frustrated and angry. If someone would have had the courtesy to research this issue and contact me, I'd really appreciate it. 3/9/20 Michelle had emailed me Friday. I just called spoke to her. She explained the issue and assured me everything was taken care of. I appeciate so much the time it took to thoroughly explain the issue.

The office is HORRIBLE. You can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone or call you back. I have called, left messages, emailed. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a medical office. The doctors are great, but they need to greatly improve the office.

Will go to no other doctor in this field, but Dr. Hamat. Recommend him to all that have GI problems.
