We had a takeaway roast dinner from The Woodcock Inn yesterday. I had a mixed children's roast dinner and my partner had a beef dinner, the portion sizes were great, very good value for money and delicious. Would highly recommend The Woodcock Inn and will definitely be back!! So nice to have a treat with all that is going on.

For my birthday my mum treated us to the most amazing cream tea! I cannot rate this pub enough. The cream tea was absolutely amazing and rounded off with a bunch of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco! It really made my birthday , was delicious and beautiful put together with a birthday cake too. Thank you soooooo much x
Great food and welcome service
Great pub somewhere between two great National Trust places, lol. Plenty of parking opposite in a very large car park. Welcome and service was friendly and relaxed. Lots of seating inside and outside. Menu was great and food delicious. If I thought I could find it again easily, I'd be back to try some more of the dishes on their menu!
So lovely! We've not been to The Woodcock since it reopened 18 months ago and wow, what a lovely job they have done with the place. We've always loved its location and now it's gorgeous inside and out, the food was amazing and the staff were super lovely we will be back very soon
