Fantastic delicious take away this evening. We had a mixture of cheese and bacon burgers, beef pie, chicken ham and leek pies and a trio of sausages all piping hot with fast and cheerful service.

Love this place. Warm welcome, cold beer, hot food. Great value for both food and drinks. A charming restaurant serving great British pub grub that is really tasty and easy on the wallet. Friendly bar staff/landlady - perfect as a local or resting stop for a weary traveller.

The MOST memorable part of our trip to England from the States - great Pint (actually about 8)...We spent over 3 hours talking with the lovely staff and locals Chris & George after our visit to the Dr. Martens Factory and Store. Thanks Chris for the Gin and lively conversation - Miss you ALL already!
