Great varied menu and quality of the food ordered was excellent. The first thing that you notice when you arrive there is the amount of thought and hard work that has been put in to set up the pub in order to comply with the covid 19 restrictions. The staff were welcoming and very efficient in informing us of the new system and the cleaning of the eating areas after guests had left was carried out with military precision. Overall, a great experience and one that I would certainly recommend.

The food was overall 4 star, it was served to us on time, cooked to perfection and exactly as we ordered it. The portions where of a good size and well presented. As a side note: - The facilities where clean and fully stocked. - The staff where very busy tonight due to an event however they still had the time to be polite, helpful and it did not seem like the food and the waiting times suffered.
Night in the Campervan here and the place fantastic. Super friendly staff with a variety of great food and beers. Will DEFINITELY be back.

BRILLIANT For those that want to know why it was brilliant just check the Winking Mans website for opening times etc, best give them a call to reserve your table, then Pop ST13 8UH into your maps thingy and pay them a visit. When you get there YOU WILL find it super covid safe with a very logical one way system, the staff are all wearing visors and are really friendly, the service is efficient, the portions are large and it’s real food cooked as you request, the atmosphere is relaxed and the owners are visible and happy to chat, I Like that and would advise you try the Winking Man out for yourself you will LOVE IT !
Cheap and cheerful homemade food. Friendly atmosphere and service. Would highly recommend.
