Met at the door by efficient and welcoming staff in current COVID restrictions. We had just stopped by for a quick drink and were served promptly at our outside table. A nice spot to stop with plenty of inside and outside seating. Local Arran ale on draft. Nice home cooked food.

After being at the castle we thought we would pop into the Wineport for a refreshment and some lunch. Wasn't the best lunch we have had this week, the chips on both meals were under cooked and probably the smallest battered haddock that I've had considering the price point of 13.50.
When in doubt, always choose the chef's special.
Had a fantastic lunch today. Great selection of food. Our table opted for scampi, BLT’s, macaroni with jalapeños and a huge fish and chips. Great Friendly service, Lovely food, good value for money. Would highly recommend.
The hot smoked salmon was fantastic!
