Decent carvery my favorite in fact. You only lost one star because you got some skinny girl giving out child portions.

Five of us ate here today. All of us thought the food was excellent, and we all had different meals from a large breakfast to lasagne, scampi to burger with goats cheese and a carvery. A few also had some home made Baileys cheesecake too and that was also excellent. The portion sizes were also very good (the pics show a small portion scampi) and we all left stuffed and happy. The bill was 60 for 5 mains and 3 desserts (not including drinks) ...great value too. Highly recommended.
The day started off weird... me and my friend (both large guys) were sipping on a cyder at the local pub prior to our visit to Windy Ridge, after a Man hug or two the bench we were sat on (not at Windy Ridge) collapsed on us resulting in me blacking out.... luckily I awoke to a lovely roast dinner at Windy Ridge.
Absolutely lovely! Staff very friendly. The food is good hearty food - we had fish and chips, crunchy batter and the mushy peas were just right. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Very dog friendly too!
Highly recommended the food here. Friendly service and beautiful views. The prices are very reasonable too. 5 star hygiene rating.
