Amazing, the is food fit for a king/queen. The staff attentive and polite, if i could give more stars i would. The place is a real hidden gem. My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch in this beautifully decorated cosy pub. We will definitely be back again and will recommend to anyone wanting a real treat.

What a lovely place! Attentive but laid back service from the young staff (and chef!) and marvellous food. Go while the June menu is still available for the balsamic roast beetroot and red onion tarte tatin, majestic! We ordered chips as a side dish thinking it wouldn't be enough but just ate them through greed and as a result couldn't manage pudding. Also recommend the crispy duck salad, smoked salmon and asparagus (starters) and plaice fillets with tiger prawns. Much of the food is locally sourced with given provenance. Elderflower gin is beautiful. Well kept ales.
Good service and a lovely meal at a reasonable price. The staff were very accomodating and i would definately visit this place again the next time i am in the area.
It was good to finally go to the pub where they filmed Auf Wiedersehen Pet ️
Superb meal and delightful service. We enjoyed an evening with friends and would definitely return. 10oz steak was second to none.
