An amazing place, great for larger groups. The best equipped kitchen of anywhere we have been and the dining room was great to seat everyone comfortably. Lots of space for everyone to be together but enough rooms for people to escape to if they wanted. The outdoor space was great too, ideal for games as well as some relaxing. Jo was friendly and responded to emails quickly - we will definitely go back

We had an amazing time at the Wilderness celebrating my parents' 80th birthdays; it was the perfect house for 3 generations to meet up in for this special occasion. The bedroom configuration matched our family mix and the different lounge areas gave us flexibility to all be together or to split off into smaller groups for different activities. The big dining table in the conservatory seated us all for a Sunday lunch which we cooked in the well equipped kitchen, and there was plenty of room to put the food out for our party buffet on Saturday evening. We had food deliveries from Tesco which was convenient and easy to organise. The sauna got used by a group of us, and another group went clay pigeon shooting on Sunday morning, but most of the time we just enjoyed relaxing together in a charming and comfortable house. The owners were really helpful and accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with.
What a wonderfull experience it was staying in this beautiful house. It had everything we needed and then some. Clean, warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of a family get together.
The whole family enjoyed our stay at Wilderness Cottage for Christmas. There are plenty of rooms to chill out and relax. The kitchen was superb and had everything needed to cook turkey,beef and a nut roast on Christmas Day. We enjoyed the walks around the area and went to Bath for the sales. The park and ride was really easy. Thank you to the owners, as we arrived early on the train and it was good not to hang around on a cold day. Also they were on hand when we needed them. Thank you from us all.
We spent four nights at Wilderness as part of our annual team away days for planning and strategizing and it was PERFECT. It's a beautiful, well equipped house with lots of space and very clean and comfortable rooms. Everyone was very happy and the sauna is amazing for team building!!!! Jo was super helpful and we'd certainly go back. Thanks!!!
