Im from Edinburgh so never been to tbis place as its always looked touristy! Went last night, during covid. Food was amazing, like really really fresh and tasty. Staff were supet helpful. Genuine good find! Definately be back

We hadn’t been here before but needed something to eat in a hurry before a show at the Festival Theatre. We didn’t even know this place existed! There was a spare table and we ordered our food at the bar. Some mixed skewers and a bottle of Merlot. The barman was clearly very busy and working alone, but he still managed to be helpful and attentive. Thank you Mert, you looked after us perfectly! Next time we’ll book to be sure of a space. The food was very tasty and full of flavour. I’d like to try some other things on the menu now.
Very nice. Nice staff. Great drinks, could not find a better place to enjoy an alcoholic beverage.
The Wild Yarrow is great restaurant with great food and good beers on tap. We had reserved tables in another restaurant, but this was closed. So we rushed in next doors at The Wild Yarrow with a group of 20 persons where the owner was all alone. I no time at all he served us drinks, gave us 5 different dishes to choose from and served it to our table. And it all tasted great. So thank you for a great lunch and I will go back there for sure when I am in Edinburgh the next time.
Waiter very helpful. Grilled meat very good.
