My wife and I took my parents here the other evening and it was a great experience. It’s a beautifully finished, cozy and warm country pub. The menu is varied with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Would happily recommend and will definitely come back in the future, thanks again.
Stopped off for dinner while on a road trip. The pub is beautiful and cosy, the food absolutely delicious and probably the friendliest staff I've ever had the pleasure to meet! Now we're just trying to find excuses to go back! I was also very impressed with their COVID measures to keep us all safe
We found this 'Proper Yorkshire' pub by accident whilst travelling North and what a find. Very welcoming enthusiastic attention from a young lady, Georgie. The food was amazing, we only wanted a sandwich but was well presented with a small pan of hot soup too. Well worth the 6.95. The menu was varied and extensive. Quite a choice for the game liver too. I would suggest booking as it was popular and filled up quick on a Monday lunchtime.
