Mixed blessings, staff charming, beer excellent, but as for the food...I have been seeing customers in other establishments being served up beautiful looking beer battered fish with chips, a decent meal. So when mine arrived with what could best be described as a chubby fish finger I was very disappointed. My wife's meal was not much better. I was told they were doing a meal deal were the second meal was half price, I didn't expect half a meal though. If you decide to eat there, well best of luck.

Really great atmosphere and amazing food. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. The service was stand out and I cannot recommend this place any more positively.

Literally walked in the door, said hello to the waitress and got completely blanked whilst she placed a reserved label on a table then walked off with a receipt. During these crazy times, all other pubs have clear and concise instructions on what to do, there is nothing in the pub to help us, looks like regular but unsafe bar service. Would have asked about taking the dog inside but no one cared. There is a better pub called the William IV round the corner
