A Chicken salad prepared by Dan very tasty and he took my likes and dislikes into account. I was very impressed with the alterations made to accommodate social distancing, track & trace and outside seating area. A very enjoyable evening a big thank you to Dan & Lisa for going the extra mile.

Just recently visited Wick Lodge as we had our Christmas party meal there. It hasn't changed in the bar area since I visited in my early 20's, still nicely inviting with a smile from the bar staff who accommodated all drinks very kindly and happy to help, I thought it would be in the function room but turns out there was a Wedding party already in that room for the evening. We were sadly segregated down the front area of the pub from all of our 60 staff party which was off putting, the main meals were lovely but could have done with some variety of veg as an optional extra to the meal (only had brussel sprouts) we did have a late arrival of our main meal when most other tables had finished theirs, but all requests were dealt with straightaway. We were expecting a disco but turns out half way through our table's meal a male singer alongside a band began to play, there was too much drowning out by the drummer to even enjoy the singer, but not at any point was any christmas songs played to enjoy alongside our meal. Standards were good and tables were cleaned up when we had finished alongside our empty glasses. Would visit for meal there again ***
