When you find a place, by the water, with great outdoor seating. Then you realise almost everything on the menu sounds scrumptious. And finally, they deliver on the taste and the food. What more can you ask. Deserves its rep as one of the best Thames riverbank pubs (and probably more). For those with kids, there were kids and adults playing by the micro beach on the river and there is a playground a short walk away.

The perfect pub, situated on historic Twickenham riverside. With the Thames running by its door lots of The White Swan's customers arrive by water craft, its a common sight to have boats, kayaks, and paddle boards moored up out front. Its a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by in the Summer or hunker down in a cozy corner in the Winter. I'm picky when it comes to beers and the Swan always delivers something interesting.
Amazing view and atmosphere outside. Fantastic, attentive service. Appreciated interesting and non pub like menu. Had the starters like tapas - mushroom on banquette was delicious, whitebait was fresh and still hot on arrival to table! Beetroot hummus could have had less beetroot and more hummus and more spice eg cayenne pepper. Excellent Covid measures. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch!
