Was there for the Christmas performance of Earby Brass Band in the beer garden. Everyone was made welcome by the landlords, regulars and Smokey Joe the cat. A warm homely atmosphere in a great local pub
Wonderful Sunday spent at the White Lion! Fantastic food, served quickly and with a smile! Very helpful and friendly bar staff (Alex and Deb are fantastic) Absolutely will be coming back to try more of the menu! 10/10
We visited the White Lion yesterday as part of a group meeting. Arriving at 11:00 and staying until 15:30 we were made to feel very welcome throughout. We had a full English breakfast upon arrival which was really good, followed later in the day by the Sunday roast (beef) again this was very good! The pub has a really good atmosphere and (at the time of visiting) had been fully made up for Halloween. The management are quite clearly very passionate about their pub, as well as the staff. I would definitely recommend a visit to see for yourself.
Not the friendliest pub around, needs a good decorate.
