We arrived very late to this establishment for an afternoon session, the staff were incredible, they allowed us to eat at 2:30pm when really they should stop serving. The menu is minimalist but the food is outstanding. Staff are lovely, range of beers is various. Just one small thing, be nice to have a guest beer now and then, spitfire, speckled hen, doombar or abbotts would complete the pleasurable experience we had. 5 stars guys well done.

Lovely little pub currently operating social distancing reasonably effectively. Decent real ale selection but could do with one or two stouts/porters too. Food was good standard. Beer garden very nice. Doing well in the circumstances.
By far the best roast in our area. Good home cooked food and the best roasties! Very good portion size too. Definitely worth a visit
