We love this place so much that we drive from Manchester to get here! Delicious food and welcoming staff. Fillet steak baguette is divine! Can't wait until we can visit you again.

Went to the White Lion Pub restaurant for my birthday tea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had a novel way of serving you by having a little flag on a pole, in a bottle on the table. When you wanted something, you placed the flag in the bottle and as soon as it was seen, a member of staff came over. They removed the flag and placed it on the table. This worked so well, we never waited for more than a minute or so!! The food was outstanding and plentiful. Price was a bit higher than some but reflected the quality of the food. Will definitely be going again.
I love this restaurant very much. It has a romantic air. The meals are very tasty. the service is dynamic and the personel is courteous. The price is fair. very much recommend.

We dropped in on the White lion recently and was surprised how busy it was at 11.00am. We chose breakfast and quickly settled down to a really nice cooked meal. Staff are just great, friendly and helpful. If your planning on a visit though BOOK AHEAD!
