A chance find after visiting Blenheim Palace, superb food at reasonable prices, excellent covid precautions, friendly, polite and attentive staff. This is a community country pub no longer owned by inflexible brewery combines. Only been running since October 2020 superbly brave effort to shrug off retail doldrums, please support if you're in the area. ...you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyable alfresco meal at the White House.
After months of fundraising and hard work, the bladon community has managed to buy and open their own pub. I went for lunch on the day after opening, and the committee and new landlord have done a fantastic job! The food was amazing (I had a burger- strongly recommended), the redecoration was OUTSTANDING and the staff were very friendly! There is plans for more board games in the pub, and an aunt Sally area as well as much more. A perfect pit stop for anyone visiting Blenheim palace or Churchill's grave. Very family friendly too. I can very strongly recommend dropping by if you get the chance.
We had great good in a welcoming pub that felt very COVID safe with lots of space in between tables. The staff were very welcoming. One small point is that the service could have been a little quicker.
Walked through Blenheim into Bladon and had drinks and mince pies. This young couple could not have done enough for us. Will definitely go back.
