In these difficult times cannot fault at all. Had to be outside because of restrictions. Great sheltered outside area with heaters. Fantastic food and very good prices. Staff were so attentive & helpful.

INTERIOR: So, The White Horse is a typical country pub. The interior is as you'd expect from a pub in the New Forest; cosy and welcoming. COVID: The social distancing measures were excellent here, with tables laid out to accommodate the 2 m rule, but it still felt cosy. There was hand sanitiser at the entrance and again just inside the door (one way system) and we were shown to our table (we pre-booked). The pub was clean and we observed the staff decontaminating surfaces regularly. MENU: The menu was fine. It said on the website that their menu was limited, but it still catered for all (veggie and vegan), and the choices whilst limited appeared to be well thought-out. SERVICE: Service was swift (but not suspiciously so!) And the staff were bright and attentive. FOOD: The food was lovely (the homemade lasagna was reportedly devine) and portion size was good, too. It came to us steaming hot and was clearly fresh. PRICE: We paid 23 for 2x lime and sodas and 2 main meals, which I think is a fair price for the quality of the food, service and location. OVERALL: Gorgeous pub, great service/food.

great place foe food second time I have eaten here and loved the food....great service and try the triple chocolate mousse....almost wept how good it is....
