We had a Sunday Roast takeaway from The White Horse, Haselbury Plucknett. Oh my goodness, it was delicious. The quality of the food couldn't get any better and the portion sizes are extremely generous, there was ample food for my partner and I. Thus was just what we need for the first weekend of Lockdown 3 0

The BEST Sunday Lunch I think we have ever had!! Simply delicious. The Sunday Roast Platter is amazing. Food and service were exceptional and very good value for money!

Having spent a week in the area and eating out most nights, The White Horse was by far the best place we went. It was a relatively quiet evening, not a lot of customers dining which was initially a little worrisome. The menu wasn't vast but each of our party ended up being torn between various tasty sounding options. From the first bite of the scotch egg starter, through the pork belly main and into the rich, chocolate dessert, everything was incredible. Make no mistake, I would consider this fine dining at essentially pub-dinner prices. If I am ever in that part of the country again I will definitely return here.
So on the first ule of 6\ visit to my friendly local pub we had to navigate the new rules and thankfully the staff knew exactly what they were doing so all was well. Great to get back round the table with friends and to cap it all the food was just fab (as always). Highly recommended!
